The 125th Street Streetscape Improvement Program is a part of the twenty-four block West Harlem Area Revitalization. The project will create an improved pedestrian environment, increase pedestrian access to the waterfront, and improve connections between the various forms of transportation.

As part of the construction management team for pre-construction services, SiteWorks is providing constructability review and comment. The review addresses hardscape pavement types, furniture, and signage as well as plantings. During the construction phase, SiteWorks will continue to work with the Resident Engineer and the Contractor on scheduling and coordination, providing quality control and field inspection for all landscape architectural elements. SiteWorks is coordinating street tree preservation and transplanting, and the implementation of extensive new plantings, engineered soils and custom furnishings. Additionally, SiteWorks will facilitate handover of the streetscape to agencies which include Parks, Business Improvement District and DoT.
